The eBaes.

The Greatest Boy Band You've Never Heard of.

Create a campaign that drives cultural relevance for eBay and reminds a new generation why the platform exists.

Gen Z doesn't think about eBay. It's not that they rejected it — they just never had a reason to care. The platform is built on rediscovery but nobody was telling that story in a way that felt exciting rather than nostalgic for someone else's past.

eBay doesn't just sell things. It resurfaces things the world forgot existed. If eBay can find a forgotten boy band, it can find anything.

The eBaes. A fully fabricated 90s boy band that eBay "discovered" — complete with cassette tapes, CDs, concert posters, and ticket stubs listed on the platform. The greatest boy band you've never heard of. Found exclusively on eBay.

Physical artifacts listed as real eBay finds. A concert in Times Square. A full tracklist of eBay-punned love songs. The campaign proves the platform's core value — that anything lost can be found — by inventing something that was never lost in the first place.
